[Press Release] ISNS Student Leaders Secure Seats at Globally Ranked Universities

AUGUST 29, 2017 – SHENZHEN, CHINA?–??The International School of Nanshan Shenzhen’s (ISNS) Class of 2017 secured acceptances to globally recognized and distinguished institutions worldwide.?

Nine New Brunswick graduates took to the stage in May to accept their New Brunswick Diploma. As a collective, they secured acceptances in North America, the United Kingdom and Asia and a combined total of $242,000 USD in scholarships.

According to the Times Higher Education World University Rankings, ISNS graduates achieved acceptances to premier schools including the University of Michigan (21), University of Toronto (22), Carnegie-Mellon University (23), University of British Columbia (=36), and the University of Urbana-Champaign (=36).?

The New Brunswick curriculum is an English-based, Canadian curriculum from the province of New Brunswick, Canada.

We are excited to announce that in addition to the New Brunswick track, in August 2016, ISNS took the title of the first continuum International Baccalaureate (IB) World School in Shenzhen, China authorized across all three programmes; the Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Diploma Programme (DP).?

ISNS fosters compassionate and internationally minded lifelong learners and shares the common philosophy of IB world schools; a commitment to improve the teaching and learning of a diverse and inclusive community of students by delivering challenging, high quality programs of international education that share a powerful vision.

This year, ISNS celebrates its 15-year anniversary as a leading international school in China. In recent years, graduates of ISNS have been awarded acceptance to two Ivy League Schools in the United States of America (USA); Harvard University and Cornell University. Also among the list of prestigious universities; University of California – Berkeley (USA); Boston University (USA); Purdue University (USA); London School of Economics (UK); King’s College London (UK); University of Edinburgh (Scotland); Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Hong Kong); University of Sydney (Australia).?

On October 12, ISNS will welcome over 40 different universities from around the globe to our Second Annual International School University Fair. ISNS prepares students to become global citizens, inspiring our youth to be active leaders and providing them with the gift of an international passport: The IB Diploma and the New Brunswick curriculum.?
